Shetal's Story
Shetal is a versatile, multi-disciplinary Artist whose work spans a variety of styles and mediums.
After a fulfilling career in the beauty and cosmetics industry, she embraced a new chapter, keen to continue expressing her creative flair, swapping her make-up brushes for paint brushes.
What began as a personal exploration of mindfulness through doodles, paintings, poetry, and reflections, soon blossomed into a deeper reconnection with her true passion for art. As Shetal rediscovered a sense of serenity and joy, she realised that once an artist, always an artist - her medium had simply evolved.
This journey of self-discovery continues to shape her artistic practice, combining bold, authentic self-expression and a deep connection to her cultural roots. Her work often draws inspiration from her British-Indian heritage, blending imagination, nostalgia, traditional influences and contemporary perspectives.
Currently, Shetal is focused on honing her craft as both a writer and visual artist, following the joy of creativity wherever it leads her. When not immersed in her art, she can be found lost in a book in a cosy corner of her West London home.
